Alan Pardew has rubbished reports he's prepared to resign at Newcastle United.

Pardew has come under intense pressure with Newcastle sliding down the table.

Addressing talk he had departed his post, Pardew told the Evening Chronicle: "Those rumours are way off the mark. We are here to get it right."
