Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew admits there could be a change of transfer policy this summer.
Pardew says that United's steep progress over the last 12 months is helping to push a seismic shift in perceptions of the club - and that progress might see top internationals once again on the radar of the Toon top brass.
"We're not in that position and that's all down to Mike and our policy of buying younger players and being very tough with contracts and shifting the power a little bit back from the player to the club has proved to be, so far, successful.
"But there are other models - Spurs you could argue have gone down that line and bought young players.
"They now find themselves where they can go and buy experienced players and hopefully that's the next phase for us.
"But where we are right now, we're pretty healthy."He told the Sunday Sun: "In terms of some of the other clubs in the Premier League, you have to worry that one or two other clubs might be in trouble this summer.
