Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew plans big changes for their clash with Manchester United.
Academy graduate Adam Armstrong could be involved against the Red Devils, with the 17-year-old forward having recently made his senior bow off the bench in a 1-0 defeat at Fulham.
Pardew said in the Evening Chronicle: "We certainly looked like we needed some freshening up (at Southampton).
"I will have to look at that against Man United.
"We don't want our season to fizzle out.
"We have ourselves in a position now after two big defeats where we have to have a big response."
