Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has hailed veteran goalkeeper Julian Speroni ahead of his testimonial match.
The 35-year old Argentine gloveman will lead an Eagles side against former club Dundee at Selhurst Park on May 26 as a tribute to his brilliant career.
Of Speroni, who joined the Eagles in 2004, Pardew said: "He's not just been a great servant as a player and a technician for the football club, but he's one of the true gents of the game.
"Being an old Corinthian myself, he definitely takes that spirit into the way he plays. If he knocks someone over he'll be the first there to pick them up and offer them some sympathy.
"He's been a fantastic player, he's loved at this football club, and we love him."
