Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley ain't short of a quid!

Ashley's Sports Direct is expected to join the FTSE 100 on Thursday afternoon.

Sports Direct is now worth an estimated £4.3billion, with its shares rising 86 per cent since the start of 2012, but few of the profits are being passed the way of Newcastle boss Alan Pardew in the way of transfer spending.
