West Bromwich Albion manager Alan Pardew sees a very bright future for the club's talented youngster Sam Field.
The 19-year-old has impressed by playing in a deeper midfield role for the Baggies this season. He already has 15 Premier League appearances and one goal to his name.
The manager does believe Field should start to create more chances for his teammates when he plays in a more advanced midfield role in the team.
Pardew spoke about Field with the Express and Star, and had this to say about the player's best position: "It's definitely a central midfield role for him – it's just a question of what he evolves into.
"It's unusual for a young player to be a sitting midfielder at his age.
"To get forward and create opportunities and maybe run past the strikers and give us that kind of energy – I think that's the kind of player he will be for the next three or four years, and a good player too."
