Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew knows they face a battle to keep hold of Loic Remy.

Remy is starring at Newcastle on-loan from QPR.

Pardew told the Evening Chronicle: "He's got a silkiness to the way he moves.

"He's got a nice run and he is a classy type of performer, which is great if you back it up with goals like it is.

"It kind of elevates him a little bit and he stands out."
