Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew felt for their away fans after defeat at Everton.
Pardew had sympathy with those who made the journey to Merseyside and vowed to take drastic action when Newcastle face Cardiff this weekend.
He said: "It wasn't good enough. We showed a bit of pride in the second half, we won some headers and won some tackles and passed the ball."
