Alan Pardew isn't about to walk away from his Newcastle United job.
The Evening Chronicle says Pardew is set to fight on as Newcastle United boss - despite rumours that the Toon boss offered to resign after the 3-2 defeat against Everton.
United sources have indicated the supposed offer did not take place on Merseyside.
The defeat was witnessed at first hand by owner Mike Ashley and director of football Joe Kinnear.
But should Ashley decide to part company with the manager he handed an eight year contract too, only last year, he would have no option but to stump up a huge pile of compensation to the 2012 LMA manager of the year.
