The Daily Mail says owner Mike Ashley and boss Alan Pardew will resist any renewed interest in Cabaye, and also plan to keep Papiss Cisse, linked with a move to Russia, Cheick Tiote and keeper Tim Krul. They are struggling to keep hold of captain Fabricio Coloccini.
