Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has revealed that he is close to making a few more additions to his squad.
Palace have been active in the transfer market this summer by acquiring the services of the likes of Christian Benteke, James Tomkins, Andros Townsend and Steven Mandanda.
Despite the summer splurge, Palace have not made the best of starts to their Premier League campaign and Pardew has now gone on to reveal that the Eagles will bring in a few more players to Selhurst Park before the summer transfer window slams shut in a couple of days' time.
Pardew was quoted saying by Sky Sports: "You can rest assured that one or two are coming in.
"We're not really close on anyone at the moment. We were close; it's gone away a little bit, so that's the world we're in at the moment.
"Everybody's jostling, but it will all happen. Just perhaps a bit of common sense here from agents, chief executives, and then we'll be okay."
