Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is confident Yohan Cabaye will win over unhappy fans.
The French midfielder was afforded a tremendous ovation when he was substituted in the closing stages of the 2-1 win at Aston Villa on Saturday after making his first start of the season.
Pardew told the Evening Chronicle: "It was nice to see.
"It was important for Yohan more than anybody. The fans understand what he did.
"We do not all have to agree it was the right thing, but we all have to move on in life."
