Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew believes the English players in his squad do not need to move to bigger clubs anymore to win national recognition.
Pardew insists that Palace is already a top team in the Premier League and challenges England manager Roy Hodgson to recognise the talents of the likes of Scott Dann and Jason Puncheon.
"Scott Dann threatens the centre-halves there," Pardew claimed.
"Jason Puncheon threatens the midfield as well.
"That's the England manager's job to stick his neck on the line. I'll never force his hand on that one.
"Do you have to play for a so-called top team to get picked? We are a top team. We're fourth."
