Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew admits he needs to lift the quality of his squad this summer.

Pardew says Newcastle could need to bring in five new faces this summer.

He said: "If there are two or three who leave this summer then we have to replace them on top of the two we want to bring in.

"There is no doubt after the loss of Cabaye we need to add quality and the Remy situation needs to be addressed because we need a player of his quality."
