Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew admits their form is a major concern after defeat to West Bromwich Albion.

Pardew was left to reflect upon a defeat which left his side with just two points from their last six games.

Asked if that is a concern, he said: "Of course, and I thought that was evident tonight.

"The crowd were a little bit desperate for it, we were a bit desperate for it, but you can't win Premier League games unless you are disciplined and you are controlled, and in some aspects of the game tonight, we weren't."
