Newcastle boss Alan Pardew is aware that Loic Remy's form, on a season long loan from QPR, is likely to have caught the eye of potential transfer rivals. The Frenchman took his tally for the season to seven at the weekend, placing him just one off the pace in the race for the top flight Golden Boot.
He said in the Evening Chronicle: "He's got a silkiness to the way he moves.
"He's got a nice run and he is a classy type of performer, which is great if you back it up with goals like it is.
"It kind of elevates him a little bit and he stands out."
