Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew accepts they'll eventually lose Yannick Bolasie.
Pardew knows the 26-year-old is likely to be a transfer target in the future - but he claims Palace will benefit whatever his long term prospects.
The manager said: "I think it's very important for players to focus on the here and now.
"This is a good club and his focus needs to be here and what happens in the future, whether he stays here or goes, is something that will happen in the future only if he plays well.
"First he needs to play well to earn a new contract here, or he needs to play well here for a bigger club to come and buy him and I don't think that is lost on Yala.
"And I don't see any sign in his training or anything that he isn't trying to be the best player he can be for Crystal Palace."
