Paraguay get the better of Greece in warm-up match

Paraguay have defeated Greece 2-0 in a World Cup warm-up match in Switzerland.

The South Americans netted twice in the second half as both sides continue their preparations for South Africa 2010.

Greece: 0 Paraguay: 2 (Enrique Vera 9', Lucas Barrios 25')

Venue: Letzigrund Stadion - Zurich, Switzerland Crowd: 5,200

La Albirroja were served well by Atlas midfielder Enrique Vera who struck inside the opening ten minutes before Borussia Dortmund striker Lucas Barrios again netted for his country with a 25th minute effort.

Manchester City's Roque Santa Cruz was on form for Paraguay as Gerardo Martino's men followed on from their 2-2 draw with the Ivory Coast whilst Greece were disappointing after the 2-2 draw with North Korea last week.
