Paperwork delays scuppered Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea's move to Real Madrid tonight.
AS says Real Madrid and Manchester United had agreed a €30 million fee for the transfer of De Gea while Keylor Navas would move in the opposite direction for €15 million.
However, Keylor wanted to make modifications to his contract which meant that they were dispatched later than anticipated.
A total agreement between both clubs had been reached at 23:30 hours CEST.
Sources at the LFP have confirmed that the relevant documents did not arrive.
