Paperwork all done as QPR revive bid for Tottenham defender Bassong

There shouldn't be any new paperwork needed if QPR are to close a deal for Tottenham defender Sebastien Bassong in January.

The Telegraph says £3 million deal collapsed on deadline day in August but a new bid is expected in January - and may be a formality if the original paperwork has been kept.

Bassong had put pen to paper - but Spurs pulled the plug because they could not sign Bolton's Gary Cahill. Luckily, they had not countersigned the papers. So Bassong stayed put.
