Bologna coach Giuseppe Papadopulo has dismissed calls for his dismissal ahead of today's clash with AC Milan.

"We have to get it into our heads that this is one of the 38 games in the season and we must reach our objectives at the end of it," said the Rossoblu boss.

"If I were to be on the chopping block after one defeat, that would be worrying for the sport. After all, why should I be under pressure when I arrived in a disastrous situation, turned it around in ways some called miraculous and am leading a side that is targeting safety?"
