Papac hoping to sign new Rangers deal

Rangers left-back Sasa Papac says he is keen to remain at the club after winning yet another trophy there. The 31-year old former Bosnia international joined the Glasgow giants in 2006 from Austria Vienna and has since helped the club to eight trophies since his arrival.

After winning a third consecutive SPL championship, Papac said he is hoping to sign a new deal as soon as possible as his current contract ends in the summer.

"I hope I can sign another contract too because I have given everything to the club for five years and now I have eight trophies as a reward," he said.

"We are still in talks with Rangers so we will see what will happen in the next couple of days, and I hope I can stay."
