Panucci remains hopeful of new Roma contract

Christian Panucci remains hopeful of a new contract at Roma - despite his row with management in January.

“Like any other man I can make mistakes,” the ex-Inter man said. “But in my eight years at Roma others have also made mistakes and I am the only one to have apologised.

“Everything is good again with sporting director Daniele Pradè and technical director Bruno Conti.

“I can understand that President Rosella Sensi was disappointed in me, but I hope she will listen to my reasons one day.”
