John Pantsil has revealed Fulham's players were delighted to end their dismal away record with victory at Bolton Wanderers.
"After the game we were very pleased and really happy," Pantsil explained to fulhamfc.com. "We couldn't wait for the game to start and everyone was pretty quiet before because we were concentrating on what we had to do - it was a must win game.
"A draw wasn't good enough at the Reebok. Everyone was ready and when we went out there the fans were singing for us and they continued to sing for the entire 90 minutes. Hopefully last Saturday's away win was just the beginning and we'll continue that form.
"The atmosphere in training today [Tuesday] amongst the players was brilliant after winning our first away game in the league. It's given us more confidence and determination ahead of our next game on Saturday. We've played Manchester United twice and they're a very good team. They've beaten us on two occasions this season but we know what we want to do and we don't want to go back to where we were two weeks ago.
"We have to make sure we do everything possible. We know a lot about them and they're a very tricky team. We want at least a point from Saturday's game. We don't want to let ourselves or the fans down. We want to be in a good mood for the rest of the season! We just have to look forward and continue our good work and see how many points we can get."
