Pantelis agrees new 2-year Adelaide Utd deal

The left-sided winger has been in talks with Adelaide over a new deal for some months and agreed to a two-year contract today.

Pantelis' agent, Lou Sticca, told tribalfootball.com: "Lucas is delighted. It's been a great few days for him after being part of the Australia training camp and now signing this new contract.

"Lucas actually was offered more by several other A-League clubs, but wants to put down roots in Adelaide and focus on playing consistently well so to keep himself in Socceroos frame.

"He enjoyed working with Pim Verbeek and the camp has only given him more motivation to crack on and do well for Adelaide. He has the Asian Champions League this year and knows a good campaign will again go some way to convincing Verbeek to keep him involved."
