Pantelidis leaves Gold Coast United for Bintang Medan

Steve Pantelidis has left Gold Coast United for Indonesian outfit Bintang Medan FC.

The 27-year old Melbournian is already in North Sumatra and has linked up with his new club for whom he has signed a contract running until December 31, 2012.

Pantelidis has already played two matches in the new Liga Premier Indonesia - a 2-1 away loss and a 2-1 win - in which the ex-Melbourne Victory man scored from a corner.

Some reports suggested that Pantelidis had joined PSMS Medan but he has in fact signed with Bintang for whom he has been made captain by German manager Michael Feichtenbeiner.
