The agent of Goran Pandev has taken aim at Napoli coach Rafa Benitez.
Pandev endured an indifferent 2013-14 campaign under the Spaniard, scoring seven times from 29 appearances, but with 17 of those coming from the bench.
"Pandev would like to stay at Napoli, he is happy in the city and with the Neapolitan fans," Carlo Pallavicino has commented to Radio Mana Sport.
"The issue relating to his staying with the Azzurri concerns Benitez.
"With the Spanish Coach, Goran totaled a good number of appearances but with little playing time, demonstrating that he is not considered a first team regular.
"For this next season we are hoping to better understand the situation, Pandev wants to play and be a leader.
"Offers from elsewhere? For now it is too early, but I can definitely say that the Macedonian has several admirers both in Italy and abroad, first of those is [Roma sporting director] Walter Sabatini, who has adored him since his days at Lazio."
