Panathinaikos are interested in Espanyol centre-forward Luis Garcia.
The 28 year-old striker is being lined up for a January move to Athens by Pana officials.
A delegation from the Greek giants are due in Barcelona over the weekend to open talks with Espanyol about a transfer for Garcia.
