Panathinaikos are interested in released Atletico Madrid midfielder Thiago Motta.
The Brazilian has been made available by Atletico, though is continuing to use the club's facilities to stay in shape.
Panathinaikos coach Henk ten Cate knows Motta from their time together at Barcelona.
