Panasonic become official technology partner of Orlando City

Major League Soccer (MLS) expansion team Orlando City have signed another sponsorship deal ahead of their league debut in 2015, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. The North American branch of Japanese consumer electronics company Panasonic has entered into a 'multi-year partnership' with the franchise.

Panasonic has become the official technology partner of the club's new downtown stadium, which is scheduled to open ahead of the 2016 MLS season.

"Our goal is to provide Orlando City fans with the best possible experience at the new stadium and this partnership with Panasonic takes us another step closer to delivering on that promise," said Orlando City president Phil Rawlins.

"They have the expertise, products and reputation to deliver a world class solution to create an unforgettable match day environment. We're thrilled to partner with Panasonic and look forward to working closely with them on the new stadium."

Meanwhile, the club has also announced a multi-year local broadcast agreement which will see Fox 35 and WRBW MY65 air Orlando City regular season and playoff games not screened nationally.
