Former Sevilla goalkeeper Andres Palop has questioned whether Christoph Kramer is good enough for Real Madrid. Kramer is currently on-loan at Borussia Monchengladbach from Bayer Leverkusen, where Palop spent last season before retiring.

With his former teammate being linked with Real, Palop says: "Kramer is an interesting player. He's a holding midfielder, offers security and can impose himself.

"He has been world champion, but Real Madrid is different and superior quality is needed. You have to see how the season goes, but I think in Spain there may be better players.

"My opinion is that, for now, I do not see this one happening..."
