Sampdoria midfielder Angelo Palombo says Antonio Cassano is a new man.

"Antonio has changed so much since he came to Sampdoria," assured Palombo.

"I am sure he will continue to do very well this season and, if he plays at his level, he will certainly deserve a chance with the Nazionale."

He added: "Antonio is always ready to give advice to young and old, while he hasn't created any major problems for the team.

"We all know it is easier at club level to take care of yourself and deal with the pressure, but Antonio did extremely well at Euro 2008, so he showed he can handle it."
