AS Roma president James Pallotta is taking a personal role in negotiations for AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri. Allegri met with Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani yesterday to discuss his situation.
Corriere dello Sport says a three-year offer is on the table from Roma, but there is a concern Allegri may see out the final 12 months of his contract.
Pallotta is now in direct contact with Allegri to urge him to make the move to Roma in the coming days.
