Genoa midfielder Raffaele Palladino is excited about the arrival of new signing Luca Toni.
The Italian striker has joined the Rossoblu on a free transfer after he rescinded his costly contract with Bayern Munich.
"Toni is a great friend and I'll provide him with a hatful of assists," the player co-owned with Juventus stated.
The Marassi outfit are again rebuilding their squad and the club yesterday announced the capture of Portugal 'keeper Eduardo.
"He's a great signing without a doubt," added the Neapolitan. "We will all welcome him enthusiastically.
"I'm in regular contact with the club during these times because I like to keep up to date with what is happening.
"Genoa are operating well on the transfer market and I think the fans can expect to be entertained next season."
