Palladino excited about Genoa move

Former Juventus attacker Raffaele Palladino is delighted with his move to Genoa.

"I am happy to be here with the Rossoblu," explained the 24-year-old who has two senior caps to his name. "My objective for this season is to do very well with Genoa and in so doing earn my place in the Azzurri squad.

"Genoa are an ambitious and prestigious club. I take this opportunity to thank President Enrico Preziosi and Coach Gian Piero Gasperini, who fought hard for my signature.

"I want very much to repay them for their efforts. I came to Marassi last season as an opponent and was able to appreciate the incredible support from the Genoa fans.

"I salute the tifosi and we'll get to know each other soon."
