Gabriel Paletta says he's happy at Parma.

The former Liverpool defender has been linked with a big club move away.

"The club have said as much and moreover, I hope to stay," Paletta told reporters.

"With the Argentines and the South Americans, the fans have a different relationship, it is special and this is important.

"I think I have much to learn and to improve, I have always said that in every training session there is something that you can learn.

"With respect to last season, I would like to also score more than the one goal I managed."
