Palermo signing Fabrizio Miccoli admits he was reluctant to return to Italy after two seasons away with Benfica.
"When I found out about the chance to come to Palermo I didn't think twice. This is a club I like and am happy they decided to make my move a permanent one.
"I want to do well here, without an axe to grind for anyone else, and maybe even win some silverware with this jersey. It won't be easy, but it's our duty to try."
Miccoli has already made a sensational start to his Rosanero career with some fantastic performances and goals in the summer friendlies.
"It wasn't easy as we are a little tired from all the fitness training, but this is the time when you have to push hard to find form."
