Palermo midfielder Fabio Liverani says UEFA Cup qualification is a realistic target this season.

"It is too early to say where we could end up. We are just at the start of the season and I am accustomed to counting up the total at the end," said the ex-Fiorentina midfielder.

"Having said that, the UEFA Cup is not a taboo target and can be within our reach as long as we keep working hard and taking it one game at a time."
