Palermo striker Davide Di Michele has made a 'come-and-get-me' plea to Roma.

"I really hope to wear the Roma shirt," said the Italy international. "For me, their fans are truly the best. It would be fantastic to celebrate a goal in front of the 'Curva Sud'. That would be the best way to crown my career.

"I'd choose Roma ahead of an offer from Barcelona. I fear that the chance of playing for Roma is running out for me."
