Palermo striker Amauri shrugged off the significance of his brace against Juventus on Sunday.

Juve are locked in talks for the Brazilian, who said: "I'm happy to have scored against Juve, as I had never scored against them before.

"But I'm just thinking about Palermo and we will see about the market at the end of the season."

Amauri remains a prospect for Italy's Euro2008 squad and added: "When will I become Italian? It won't be long.

"We have already made the request and we are waiting for someone to call us."
