Palermo are welcoming Uruguay international Arevalo Rios this week.

The holding midfielder will make his move official once the winter transfer opens.

It is reported that Palermo have parted with a fee of around £2.9million to bring the midfielder from Mexican outfit Club Tijuana.

The much-travelled 29-year-old is set to complete his eighth move in the last five years, but is now looking to settle.
