Palermo are ready to launch a bid for Red Bull Salzburg striker Marc Janko.
The Rosanero are turning to the experienced Austria international after being frustrated in negotiations for Internacional de Porto Alegre star Nilmar.
Palermo hope to land Janko for around £5 million.
