The agent of Palermo striker Edison Cavani is coy over interest from Lazio.

Cavani was attacked by fans after training last week and is considering his future in Sicily.

Cavani's agent, Claudio Anellucci, told lalaziosiamonoi.it: "Like I have already told your other colleagues, I have decided not to talk about the transfer market.

"You know how much I like talking with you, but for the moment I would prefer not to say anything.

"At the moment, Cavani is going through a strange situation. The authorities are investigating the facts. We are only trying to keep Cavani calm.

"In general, it's too soon to say what the transfer market will look like. I hope Lazio have an important market."
