Palermo striker Andrea Belotti struck twice for Italy U21 in their 3-2 win over Serbia.
Belotti hit brace, with Domenico Berardi also scoring for Italy.
"I could never have dreamed of a night like that, especially after we went 2-0 down," the Palermo striker told reporters.
"We always believed in ourselves and I am happy to have scored two important goals for this victory.
"We didn't let our heads drop and started moving the ball around, just like the Coach asked. We proved against Serbia that young Italian players are there and just want to prove themselves. We just need a little faith."
