Palermo striker Abel Hernandez touched down on Humberside yesterday ahead of signing for Hull City.
The Tigers are hoping to complete a reported £10m deal for the 24-year-old Palermo forward.
Having flown in from Italy this morning with his representatives, Hernandez is understood to be at the club's training ground to undertake a medical and finalise the details of his contract, says the Hull Daily Mail.
A deal for Hernandez will break City's transfer record once again and comes less than 24 hours after the capture of Michael Dawson from Tottenham Hotspur.
