Palermo captain Fabio Liverani has no problem with the outspoken ways of president Maurizio Zamparini.

Zamparini blasted coach Davide Ballardini earlier this week and Liverani said: "I was not there yesterday, I came later and do not know what the president said. I have read and seen it on TV.

"We all know the president, we know how he works, he has his ideas and his way. But we also know that a president is close to the team. We must respect the roles. He is the leader of this team and can express himself as he wants."
