Palermo striker Igor Budan will undergo surgery on an injured knee.

The Croatian international has been struggling with problems in his left knee and has been advised to have an operation as soon as possible.

"The operation will take place in the next few days after the player is completely free of flu symptoms," Palermo club doctor Giuseppe Puleo confirmed.
