Palermo are ready to sell Javier Pastore.
The Daily Mail says Chelsea and Manchester City are set to go head to head for Palermo's Argentina playmaker Pastore, 21, who said he wanted to quit Italy.
Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini said he had 'given up' on the £40m-rated star.
Chelsea failed with a bid for Pastore at the end of last season.
