Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini is pleased to see Indonesian billionaire Erick Thohir takeover Inter Milan.
Zamparini has welcomed foreign investment into Italian football.
"Cycles come to an end," Zamparini told Tuttosport.
"A window has now opened for Italian football because funds are coming in from other countries," added the Stadio Barbera President.
"Now I'm hoping that someone can come forward to take over from me. I too am looking for a successor for my club.
"I know that will not be easy, but Thohir could pave the way."
