Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has warned coach Bortolo Mutti he's losing his patience.
The Sicilians had picked up 10 points from four rounds, but were beaten 2-1 at Cagliari on Saturday evening.
"It's not possible that in all these years we have been unable to resolve the defensive problems. We can't keep going around Italy knowing that we'll always leak goals. I have already spoken to Mutti and told him things need to change.
"We played fairly well in Cagliari, although we gifted two goals and Abel Hernandez missed an incredible chance, so I feel the right result was a draw. I saw character, something that we had lacked in previous outings.
"We're on the right track, although this team still needs to attend a lecture on how to defend. We're talking about the ABC of football.""I am fed up," blasted the President in the Giornale di Sicilia newspaper.
